CHEMIST SPIRITS
Work with Chemist Spirits and Antidote began in the Spring of 2020. With the onset of the Covid pandemic, the role of Junior Marketing Designer evolved quickly, requiring flexibility as Asheville’s beverage tourism industry abruptly dried up.

In a world suddenly shut down, it became crucial to connect. Customer engagement became it’s own craft, a skill that required brand integrity our followers could identify, but more so - identify with.

Turning to our digital channels we began a marketing campaign focused on the community effort to stay safe and healthy with the “spirit” of togetherness. Thinking creatively we began promoting hand sanitizer with make-at-home cocktails kits, hosting virtual events, and later offering RTD cocktails until we re-opened and navigated our customers safely back through the distillery doors.

Assisted in the design and production of over 500+ small-batch distillery-made hand sanitizer labels. Social media stories at this time were geared toward customer health awareness and community.

Heavily promoted Chemist at-home Cocktail Kits for pandemic use through stories and feed shares. With this content the Marketing team produced tutorial videos for online content.

To assure customers of a safe return to the cocktail lounge, Antidote, I created certain in-house signage materials like this QR code menu to prevent the spread of germs.

For those not ready to be back out, Marketing launched three common Ready to Drink (RTD) cocktails that customers could pick up and take home. This was a set of three quick labels designed and printed immediately in-house after the bill was passed to legalized pre-mixed cocktail sales.

A small label holding in the powerful 151 Gin, America’s strongest gin. At 151 proof, it was important that we make this bottle shine., since it’s - very flammable. Collaborating on the design of this label involved, using established style guide elements provided by the Art Director to incorporate the copper of the shiny copper of the stills, and the charcoal black brick wall of the Chemist courtyard (located at 151 Cox Ave).

The release of this product consisted of social stories/posts, tastings, cocktail creations, and print promotional materials.
